The family of a woman who died after a road traffic collision in Bolton have paid tribute to her. Just before 6.50pm on Friday 1 March 2013, there was a collision between 64-year-old Margaret Davies and a Toyota Avensis on Blackburn Road near to the junction of Bar Lane. She received serious head injuries and was taken to hospital but sadly died in the early hours of Saturday 2 March 2013. Paying tribute, Margaret’s family said: “Margaret left behind a loving family who are all deeply shocked at their loss. She was a loving and caring mother who could not do enough for her family and friends. She helped people in many ways, as a volunteer in a school, as a brown belt in karate helping younger students and as a grandma most of all. She will be greatly missed.
