A group of cricketers are running the Liverpool half marathon this weekend in memory of their teammate who killed himself at the age of 24.
Sefton Park cricketer Alex Miller was found dead in his Liverpool home last December.
The club hope to turn the tragedy into a campaign to help young men who are close to the edge by teaming up with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)
On Sunday, all of the club members will run the marathon wearing their full kit in memory Alex whilst also raising funds for the charity.
CALM say male suicide is on the rise with 75% of those who kill themselves being men. The North West has the second highest rate in the country behind the North East.
