A prom fashion show is going to be held in memory of an Ulverston girl who campaigned to get more people to register as bone marrow donors while she was dying of leukaemia.
The Runway on the Runway event will see dozens of models from North West schools modelling clothes fit for a high school prom.
It's being organised because Alice Pyne – the terminally ill teenager who shot to fame after her bucket list went viral online – listed going to a prom as one of things she wanted to achieve before she died.
The fashion show will be held at Manchester Airport this evening.
It will raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the charity Medcare.
Video interviews with teenage cancer patients will also be played at the event – including Alice's last interview before she passed away.
