The rest of the Easter weekend will be dry and fine. Sunny spells by day and widespread frosts by night for all of us.

Saturday night

A cold, clear night with a penetrating frost. Urban low temperatures of -3 c. Rurally as low as -6 c.

Easter Sunday

A beautiful, cold sunny start to the day. it will stay dry and fine, with sunshine becoming hazy during the afternoon. Very cold.

Outlook

Next week stays cold and dry. There may be occasional light snow flurries in the Pennines from Wednesday night.
