A teenage girl has been raped in Gorton, Manchester.
The 15-year-old was attacked as she walked along a floodlit path, behind houses, on Sanby Avenue. She was grabbed and pushed to the ground.
The rapist is described only as white, because he covered the victim's eyes with his hand.
Police say the attack happened between 9pm and 10pm on Wednesday 22 May, but was only reported to them in the last few days.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Peach says: "When the girl walked down the path she saw a group of around twelve youths and it is believed her attacker was amongst them. We want to directly appeal to that group for information."
