A wet start for the region with rain pushing north, heavy at times.
Temperatures will be pretty impressive for the time of year (15-17C) but winds strong - especially for the Irish Sea, where gusts could reach gale-force.
A brief pocket of promise later in the day when conditions are likely to dry up for a time afternoon/early evening - but not for long.
Further showers develop later Monday evening ahead of another area of rain pushing through overnight into Tuesday.
