Tuesday will be almost a repeat performance of Monday. Tuesday morning, showers run into the west. Drier and brighter further east.

Tuesday afternoon, showers continue streaming into the west. Drier and brighter further east. Quite blowy, temperatures 9-11c, but add on the wind chill and it feels more like 5-6c.

Wednesday: chilly, dry, bright start. Cloud and rain pushes in to the west through the morning and by evening it will be right across the whole region with strengthening winds.

Thursday: the system clears, still some showers to the west. Drier in the east, brighter here too.

Friday: best day of the week. One or two blustery showers at first, but a brief ridge of high pressure builds in and knocks them on the head so a drier, brighter afternoon follows. Breezy, noticeably cooler.

This weekend there is the possibility that another deep low pushing in, it is currently uncertain if it is of the same ilk as Atlantic Storm St Jude.
