Friday night:

Showers will continue through much of the evening, but it will turn increasingly dry towards dawn. Remaining breezy overnight, particularly in the west, and fairly cloudy. Mostly frost-free. Lows of 3 °C.

Saturday:

It should be dry across most areas through the morning, with some sunshine, but cloud will build from the northwest with outbreaks of rain arriving during the afternoon. Winds will strengthen. Highs 7-9 °C.

Sunday:

Sunday looks very unsettled - very wet and windy with heavy and persistent outbreaks of rain and gale force winds.

Thunder and lightning is possible and winds could reach 60+mph for the coastline and Isle of Man.

Southwestern facing slopes of Cumbria are at the highest risk of some large rainfall totals by the end of the weekend due to the combination of heavy rain and possible snow melt from the fells.
