Heavy rain at times, especially in the west. Gales through the Irish Sea, gusts 50-60mph, 65mph in the most exposed spots. Even inland, gusts of 40-45mph.
During the afternoon the wind eases a little. Still wet - this is from the same cold front which pushes in on Saturday night; it's very slow moving with waves along it.
It will be very mild in spite of the cloud, tops around 11-12c, a good few degrees above the average for the time of year.
Rain becomes more widespread Sunday night into Monday, heavy bursts at times.
