Low pressure to the north of the UK is in charge for the next couple of days, showers rotating round it, together with tight isobars, so blustery with wintry showers over hills.

High pressure pushes in from the west on Sunday, killing off the showers, so turning very cold and frosty on Sunday night. Very icy.

Although we are officially into Spring, our weather is typically turning colder this weekend.
