Sheila Marsh passed away just hours after being taken outside in her hospital bed to say goodbye to her horse Bronwen.
The 77-year-old's dying wish was granted when the show horse was transported to Wigan Royal Infirmary as her condition deteriorated.
Sheila had cared for Bronwen from a foal for the last 25 years. She passed away just hours after saying farewell to the horse.
