Isle of Man becomes UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

The Isle of Man has earned Biosphere Reserve status by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.

This is the first time a whole jurisdiction has been recognised for following UNESCO criteria, shared by 120 other countries.
