A third man has sadly died after a crane collapsed in Crewe in June.
Police were called to a new build site in Dunwoody Way in Crewe following reports of a collapsed Crane on June 21. Two people died.
Police have confirmed that the third person involved in the incident has now sadly passed away as a result of their injuries.
Cheshire police continue to work alongside our partners at the Health and Safety Executive, Local Authority and Building Control to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
David Webb, 43, originally from Northampton, but living in St Neots with his partner, is the third man who sadly died when the crane collapsed. His family have paid tribute to him.
