A man is due in court charged with the murder of a father who was stabbed outside his home in Sale.
Tyrone Patrick, 32, is accused of killing Mike Grimshaw, 34, in July, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
Mr Grimshaw, described by his family as "the most caring, patient and gentle person", died in hospital after being stabbed in Royston Avenue on July 20.
Neighbours said at the time that the father-of-one had been due to marry his long-term partner in August.
Patrick, of Haydock Close, Stretford, has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester City Magistrates Court on Tuesday, GMP said.
