Weather with Kerrie - Winter sets in

THURSDAY:

Quickly turning drier, colder and brighter with a spell of northwesterly gales. Blustery snow showers are forecast through the afternoon and by evening some accumulations possible over Cumbrian hills the hills. Afternoon highs 4-6°C.

OVERNIGHT:

Blustery snow showers will continue through the evening becoming more isolated overnight. Clear skies will develop for many through the early hours leading to a widespread frost by dawn. Lows -3 °C.

FRIDAY:

An icy start with a light covering of snow possible over Pennines and peaks.

Friday will remain windy and bitterly cold with isolated snow showers in the west, possibly leading to some disruption for Merseyside and Cheshire, but plenty of sunshine for many. Bitterly cold. Highs to 4°C
