We were called at 21:41 on Monday 25th December to reports of an incident at Tesco Express on Livesey Branch Road in Blackburn.

A vehicle, believed to be a stolen Vauxhall Corsa, drove into the side of the shop window. Three offenders are believed to have exited the car where they have joined another three people from a second vehicle. The offenders have made their way into the shop and took off with a quantity of alcohol.

One of the men was carrying a hammer and made threats to members of the public.

Both vehicles left the scene. The Vauxhall Corsa was later recovered at an address in Blackburn.
