Another dry, warm and sunny day for most parts of the region. There's the possibility of locally disruptive thundery rain later this afternoon and this evening as the warm spell comes to a close.
Isolated downpours moving northeast during the evening and at first Saturday night could lead to surface water spray on the regions roads and some difficult or dangerous driving conditions and localised flooding.
A Met Office yellow warning for rain has been issued, valid from 4pm Saturday afternoon until 3am Sunday.
Please note that the showers/thunderstorms will be scattered - so very 'hit and miss' - and not everywhere is guaranteed a soaking, indeed some places could miss them altogether and remain dry.
