Vanity Fair star Olivia Cooke: 'This feels like the biggest job I've ever had'

ITV's brand new Sunday night drama 'Vanity Fair' will premiere this week.

The adaptation of the classic 1847 novel of the same name follows the lives of the quick-witted Becky Sharp and her best friend Amelia - as they negotiate the highs and lows of society life.

The title role is played by 24 year old Olivia Cooke - fresh from starring in Steven Spielberg's latest blockbuster 'Ready player one'.

The question was always who would be our perfect Becky Sharp and that is undoubtedly Olivia Cooke! So we are thrilled she has agreed to play Becky, in what promises to be a very exciting new drama for ITV next year.

The seven-part drama has been written by Gwyneth Hughes - it was filmed on location in London and Budapest.
