Will there be any sunshine this week?

There's a rather dramatic change to our weather story this week, with it looking a lot more unsettled Thursday-Saturday compared to our initial outlook.

For the first couple of days of September it's been mainly dry and very warm, with temperatures reaching nearly 26C in Rostherne and Nantwich on Sunday 2nd.

However, a weather front has brought a very cloudy, murky and damp start to the new working week, and for some of us a soggy start to a new school year.

So is that Autumn settling in?

Wednesday looks like our best day this week. A mainly dry day with some sunshine and lighter winds. But unfortunately a less-settled outlook than perviously advertised - with thicker cloud, stronger winds and showers/rain around for towards the end of the week and start of the weekend
