A centre that provides a lifeline for veterans could face closure without an 'urgent' injection of cash.

Bolton Armed Forces Centre For Veterans provides an oasis of emotional support and practical help for men and women struggling with things like depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and even just adapting back to life on 'civy-street'.

The services it offers saves the NHS thousand of pounds, as well as saving lives.

The centre is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by the two people who set it up who say they are in desperate need of donations to stay open.
