A young shepherdess from Croglin near Carlisle has been nominated as an ambassador for the Lake District's bid for World Heritage status.
Twenty-four-year old Hannah Jackson is already one of 12 national ambassadors for the sheep association, because of her passion for encouraging young people into farming.

Bramhall Hall is re-opening after a huge restoration project, thanks to a £1.6m grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
