There will be more police on the streets of Manchester today ahead of tonight's Premiership derby. Around six hundred officers will be involved in the operation inside and around the Etihad - as well as in the city centre.

The former Oasis frontman sat in Mancini's chair and delivered a cheeky jibe to United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Hinting why the Red Devils lost the derby that was billed as the most important game of the season, he said: "Ferguson must have been on the whisky."

Massive Manchester City fan Liam Gallagher celebrated his team's triumph over arch-rivals Manchester United by bursting into the club's media room and declaring his love for manager Roberto Mancini.
Gallagher, announced: "I love Mancini, he is nearly as cool as me."
