Bolton boxer Amir Khan's rematch with Lamont Peterson has been cancelled after Peterson failed a drugs test. It had been arranged after refereeing irregularities at the pair's original fight in December, when Khan lost his WBA and IBF titles.

Amir Khan demands to be reinstated as world champion
Bolton boxer Amir Khan is demanding to be reinstated after his opponent Lamont Peterson failed a drugs test. A rematch had been organised after their original, disputed fight in December but this has now been cancelled.
Khan is likely to fight on 30 June for the World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation light-welterweight titles he lost to Peterson in Washington. An opponent has yet to be announced.
