Death of girl, 15, 'unexplained'

A 15-year-old girl died on Saturday morning at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool. Merseyside Police say her death is unexplained. A post mortem examination will be carried out later and police have yet to formally identify her.

Two teenagers released on unconditional bail

Merseyside Police can confirm that a 16 year old man arrested yesterday in connection with the death of Rose Farley has been released on unconditional bail.

A 17 year old from Everton was also arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs. He has been released on unconditional bail.

Rose Farley's death at a party in Liverpool came just days after police in the city issued a warning about a new brand of ecstacy tablet.

'Pink ecstacy' is a super-strength version of the class A drug and is stamped with the letter 'M'.

Police have carried out a post mortem on Rose's body but say they won't release the results until toxicology tests have been carried out.

Detectives have said they are looking into whether her drink was spiked.
