Zoe Robinson from Bury has won a Bronze medal in Boccia's BC1-2 Team event after the defending champions Great Britain beat Portugal 7-5.

The 22-year-old, who attended Radcliffe Riverside High School, won gold in Beijing four years ago and has since been made a Freeman of the town.

Stockport's Anthony Kappes and Craig MacLean won Paralympic gold in a stunning all-British tandem sprint final on the fourth and final day of competition at the London 2012 velodrome.

Kappes, who's partially sighted, and his pilot MacLean claimed a 2-0 win in the best of three final against team-mates Neil Fachie and his pilot Barney Storey. In the second bout, Kappes and MacLean overtook their rivals with a lap and a half to go before swooping down to the racing line.

Storey, who lives in Disley in Cheshire with his wife Sarah, and Fachie nearly lost control behind them and sat up, settling for silver. It was a second successive tandem sprint gold for Kappes, who won the title alongside Storey in Beijing in 2008.

Britain won both golds in the tandem sprint events, after Fachie and Storey won one-kilometre time-trial gold, when Kappes and MacLean did not finish due to mechanical trouble.

Liverpool's Marc Powell is out of the Men's Judo 73kg after losing to Dmytro Solovey of the Ukraine in the Quarter Finals.

Marc's brother Dan will compete in the Quarter Finals of the 81kg category later this evening.

An extended interview with gold medal winner Sarah Storey from Manchester.

Storey won Great Britain's first gold in the Track Cycling Women's Pursuit C5 yesterday (August 30).

Storey said the crowd at the Velodrome after her victory was like her extended family.

The Royal Mail is now producing a stamp in honour of her success. It is the first time a set of stamps has been issued to celebrate Paralympic gold medallists from the host country.

Shelly Woods from Blackpool has qualified for the final of the 5000m after finishing in 3rd place in Round 1.

Shelly will be in three more events over the next nine days including her strongest event, the Marathon. Her first final is on Sunday.
