There have been tears today at the planned closure of a much loved day care centre.
Moreton Day Care in Wirral provides support and respite care for disabled adults.
But it's earmarked for closure as the council looks to save more than 100 million pounds over the next three years.
Council recommends closure of Moreton Day Centre
by Daniel HewittWirral Council are recommending that of the three day centres at risk, Moreton, Heswall and Eastham, Moreton Day Centre should close in order to help save £109m.
The final vote will take place on June 20th. Although the recommendation is that Moreton Day Centre will close, staff jobs at all three sites are at risk.
