Two people have been charged after a pregnant woman was stabbed outside a Liverpool primary school.

A pregnant woman who was stabbed at a school in Liverpool has returned home from hospital. The 28-year-old was attacked at Lister Infant School in Green Lane on Thursday. Her baby was unharmed.

Two people have been charged. Andrea Dean, 39, of Stoneycroft, appeared in court on Saturday charged with attempted murder, attempted child destruction and possession of an offensive weapon. Christopher Dean, 39, from Kremlin Drive has been charged with assisting an offender.

Man, 39, arrested after pregnant woman stabbed

Merseyside Police have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder after a pregnant woman was stabbed.

The 28-year-old victim was attacked outside Lister Primary School on Green Lane, Liverpool, yesterday afternoon.

A 39-year-woman who was also arrested remains in police custody.

A police cordon is in place around a Liverpool primary school after a pregnant woman was stabbed.

The stabbing happened in grounds of Lister Primary. The victim is in a serious but stable condition.
