Lancashire fire deaths
Two people have died in separate house fires in Lancashire. An 88-year-old man was killed in Blackburn in the early hours of Sunday. Another person was killed in an unrelated fire in Leyland on Sunday evening.

Fatal house fire in Blackburn
One person has died after a house fire in Blackburn. Fire crews were called to Pleckgate Road in the town shortly before three o'clock this morning. A joint police and fire service investigation has now been launched.
