The Killers have had to postpone two concerts in Manchester after Brandon Flowers walked off stage with a sore throat.

The Killers have rescheduled their two postponed Manchester Arena shows for February 17th and 18th, 2013.

They were forced to cut short their concert at the arena on Tuesday night after vocal problems. The band say a viral infection meant Brandon Flowers was unable to continue with the set. Apologising to fans via Facebook and Twitter on the night, the band promised to reschedule as soon as possible.

Tickets for the original shows remain valid for the rescheduled dates, with the exception of standing _tickets from the Nov 13th show, which will be reissued to customers by their original ticketing agents.

Refunds are also available.

The two Manchester Arena shows by The Killers have been postponed.

Lead singer Brandon Flowers had to take a break early into ast nights performance after complaining of a sore throat. Unfortunately, he was unable to continue with the rest of the show.

The band intend to reschedule both Manchester concerts for next year. Confirmation of the new dates is expected within 48 hours.

Ticketholders are advised to retain their tickets and to contact their point of purchase for further information.

The band are sorry to disappoint fans but in their own words:

‘Manchester, we started something we couldn't finish and we're so, so sorry. Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow's shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP’
