The family of a man from Lancashire who died after he was attacked with a bottle are making a fresh appeal to ban glass from pubs and clubs on the anniversary of his death.

Phillip Sherriff from Garstang died after a night out in London.

A 10k run will be held next month in his village in Lancashire to raise money to keep the campaign going.

The grieving widow of a man murdered at a party is taking her fight to ban glass in pubs and clubs to Downing Street.

Jane Sherriff will hand over a petition signed by more than 113,000 people.

Her husband, Phillip, was stabbed in the neck with a bottle at a party back in April.
