A man is due in court charged with murdering music teacher Yuriy Kozak who was stabbed on New Year's Day.
The Ukrainan moved to Salford nine years ago.
Andrij Senchenko of no fixed address will appear before magistrates in the city later this morning.
A man has been charged with the murder of Yuriy Kozak on New Year's Day in Salford
Emergency services attended and found Yuriy, 46, had suffered a serious stab wound. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Andrij Senechko , of no fixed address, is charged with murder and is due to appear at Salford Magistrates Court .

Man dies after stabbing in Salford
A 46-year-old man has died following a stabbing in Salford. Shortly after 4.30pm yesterday police received a report that a man had been stabbed at a flat on Rodney Street.
Emergency services attended and found a man who had suffered a serious stab wound. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
