Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash in Edenfield.
Bernard Boylan, 25, from Bury, died when his car hit a lampost and tree at around 8.30pm on Monday night.
The southbound carriageway of the A56 Edenfield By-Pass was closed for four hours to allow for collision investigation to take place.
