Michael Brewer was found guilty of five counts of indecent assault against a pupil at the Chetham's School of Music in Manchester.
The jury still considering a charge of rape against Brewer.
His ex-wife Kay was found guilty of one charge of indecent assault.
The jury is also still considering a charge of aiding and abetting rape against her.
