Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed and left for dead in Greater Manchester on Sunday. The victim was walking out of a house in Hindley when he was approached by two men who stabbed him repeatedly.
Second arrest after man stabbed and left for dead by thieves who tried to steal his car
Police have arrested a second man on suspicion of attempted murder after a Hindley man was stabbed by two men who tried to steal his car.
It happened on Sunday morning when the offenders approached the victim, before stabbing him 12 times and leaving him for dead.
A GMP statement read:
Two men, both aged 26, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and both remain in police custody for questioning.
The victim remains in hospital in a serious condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he continues to make good progress in his recovery.
