A man accused of the murdering a Manchester Metropolitan University lecturer and his family has arrived in court after being arrested in Morocco.

Anxiang Du was driven from London in a convoy of three police cars.

Jifeng Ding, his wife Helen, and their two daughters were stabbed to death at their home in Northampton in April 2011.

Ding murder suspect due in court

Manchester Metropolitan University lecturer Jifeng Ding, his wife Helen, and their two daughters Alice, 12, and 18-year-old Xing were stabbed to death at their home in Northampton in April 2011.

Anxiang Du was arrested in Morocco and was flown back to the UK yesterday.

He will appear in Northampton Magistrates' Court today.
