A campaign's to get under way later to force the Premier League to give more back to grassroots football.
The Bolton MP David Crausby and players will launch an e-petition in Liverpool calling for some of the cash from television rights be used to improve facilities.
There will be a debate in the Commons if 100,000 signatures are collected.
Those nurturing the footballing dreams of thousands of North West children say the Premier League is destroying the grassroots of the sport.
They claim top teams are taking away talent, while failing to pump money into facilities.
The League claims local councils should find cash for that. Even so, the most successful clubs still put £45million into community causes.
