Family pay tribute to woman found dead in Macclesfield

The family of a woman found dead at a house in Macclesfield have paid tribute to her. Rachel Clayton, 34, from Macclesfield was formally identified today.

Her family said: "Rachel enjoyed life to the full. She was a special daughter and was very family orientated. We will miss her greatly."

Rachel was found dead at a house on Crompton Road, Macclesfield on Sunday 7 April. Police were called to the address at 8.24pm where the body of Emma Speed, aged 30, of Davies Street, Macclesfield was also discovered.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained but at this stage there is not believed to be any third party involvement.

Inquiries are continuing.
