A fire in Manchester's Northern Quarter may force businesses to close for days.
Homes had to be evacuated after the blaze in a derelict building. Around 50 people were taken to emergency accommodation by Manchester City Council.

Around 40 firefighters are tackling a fire in a derelict building that's close to collapse in Manchester's Northern Quarter tonight.
More than 100 people had to be moved out of local pubs flats and restaurants near the junction of Warwick and Oldham Street. Others are being told to keep their windows closed. It could also lead to traffic disruption tomorrow morning

Fire crews were called at around 6pm to the building on Warwick Street/Oldham Street.
People in the area are being asked to keep their doors and windows shut.
