A heavily pregnant woman who was critically injured in a crash in Manchester has given birth following an emergency operation.
The 29 year old was injured along with several others in the incident at the junction of Great Ancoats and Redhill Street.
Police say she was in a taxi which hit a pedestrian after it was in collision with another car.
The baby was delivered by caesarian section and is said to be making good progress.
The mother suffered serious head and chest injuries.
A man's been arrested on suspicion of various driving offences.
