Police investigating the disappearance of a mum-of-three from Cheetham Hill have charged a second man in connection with her death.
Muhanned Mahmood Al Khatib has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.
He is due to appear before Manchester City Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Police have already charged her husband with murder.
A 34-year-old man remains in police custody for questioning.
25 year old Rania Alayed from Cheetham Hill was reported missing from home on July 2.
Police say they have launched a murder investigation and that efforts continue to locate Rania’s body.
Ahmed Khatib, 33, of Knutsford Road in Gorton has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Manchester City Magistrates’ Court.
A 34-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
A 38-year old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, also remains in police custody for questioning.
A man aged 64 and a woman aged 55, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been bailed until 19 August.
