The funeral of former Everton player Dave Hickson is taking place today.
He died earlier this month aged 83.
He was associated with the club for nearly sixty years.
He remains the only man to have played professionally for Everton, Liverpool and Tranmere Rovers.
Everton's chaplain, the reverend Harry Ross, is leading today's service at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Hickson was known as a strong, fearless and combative centre forward who earned the the nickname the Cannonball Kid:-
The funeral takes place later of former Everton star Dave Hickson.
He played for the club in the 1950s and passed away at the age of 83.
He'd been an ever-present at Everton since his retirement hosting stadium tours.
A service will be held at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Everton supporters will be able to pay their last respects when the funeral cortege passes Goodison Park.
