A former SAS sniper from Cheshire has been given a two year suspended sentence for possessing a gun and ammunition.
Danny Nightingale was found guilty following a re-trial after a previous ruling was overturned.

Former SAS sniper Sergeant Danny Nightingale from Cheshire has been sentenced to two years military detention today for the possession of a pistol and ammunition.
The sentence, handed down at a court martial hearing in Bulford, Wiltshire, was suspended for 12 months.
