Cyclists in Greater Manchester are to get a twenty million pounds boost to improve routes around the region.

The money will be used to transform and create new paths and increase the number of people on bikes by three hundred per cent over the next 12 years.

The award is the largest from the Government's Cycle City Ambition Grant.

'Cycle and Ride' stations will be developed along with a new network of routes.
