The Government has announced 20 million pounds to promote cycling in Greater Manchester.
The Peak District will also benefit under the plans, which will try to make existing roads safer and provide new routes for bikes.

Cyclists in Greater Manchester are to get a twenty million pounds boost to improve routes around the region.
The money will be used to transform and create new paths and increase the number of people on bikes by three hundred per cent over the next 12 years.
The award is the largest from the Government's Cycle City Ambition Grant.
'Cycle and Ride' stations will be developed along with a new network of routes.
