The Royal Navy's newest submarine's to be officially named later.

HMS Artful is the third of Britain's Astute class submarines.

It's been built at BAE in Barrow and local schoolchildren have been invited to the ceremony.

Amanda Lady Zambellas, wife of the Royal Navy's First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir George Zambellas, is to perform the official naming.

The traditional ceremony, which will take place in the Devonshire Dock Hall, marks the end of Artful's build programme.
