Guilty verdict in MMU lecturer murder

Anxiang Du has been found guilty at Northampton Crown Court of the murders of four members of the Ding family at their home in Wootton, Northamptonshire, in April 2011.

Murder of Manchester lecturer and his family

Four members of the same family were murdered because of a dispute over business.

The victim was Jeff Ding who was a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He was killed with his wife and daughters at their home two years ago.

The court rejected 54 year old Anxiang Du's claim that it was manslaughter.
