Anxiang Du was today jailed for life with minimum of 40 years after being convicted of murdering four members of the Ding family at their home in Wootton, Northamptonshire, in April 2011.
Four members of the same family were murdered because of a dispute over business.
The victim was Jeff Ding who was a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He was killed with his wife and daughters at their home two years ago.
The court rejected 54 year old Anxiang Du's claim that it was manslaughter.

A man has been found guilty of the murder of a lecturer from Manchester Metropolitan University and his family.
Jifeng "Jeff"' Ding, his wife, Ge "Helen" Chui, and their two daughters, Xing "Nancy" 18, and Alice, 12 were murdered in April 2011.
Anxiang Du will be sentenced at Northampton Crown Court tomorrow.
