Olympic hopeful gears up for Sochi

Kritsan Bromley from Lancashire is gearing up for his medal bid in the mens skeleton event.

Lancashire's Kristan Bromley will begin his bid for a medal in the skeleton later. The 41 year old from Rossendale started training in 1994 in fact he designed the sled as part of a BAE Systems sport technology initiative.

After becoming the test pilot two years later Kristan qualified for the world cup team.

Soch4 2012 will be his 4th olympics with career highlights including, becoming the first man in the history of the skeleton sport to win the 'triple crown' of world titles in 2008: World Championship, World Cup Series Championship and European Championship.
