More than a year ago Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson had just undergone a successful back operation, but five days later he began spitting blood, and was diagnosed with a blood clot on his lung, which doctors say could have killed him.

More than a year ago Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson had just undergone a successful back operation and was hoping to return within a few weeks.

But five days later he began spitting blood, and was diagnosed with a blood clot on his lung, which doctors say could have killed him.

He's now back playing for his club, and he's told our reporter Daiel Hewitt that he hasn't ruled out playing for his country again either.
