Charity bike riders from Manchester are vowing to re-stage their event after a crash putting two of them in hospital.
The team were hoping to cycle 1700 miles to Gibraltar in five days but a collision with a van in Kent left their fund-raising dreams in tatters.
A charity cycling event is in jeopardy after two of the people taking part were hit by a van.
Pedals for Medals was set to be a non-stop bike ride from Manchester to Gibraltar involving amateur cyclists and the armed forces.
The event has now been delayed until two of the bikers, both of whom suffered broken ribs and punctured lungs, are healthy again.
