Chilling CCTV has been released of a suspected armed robber pointing a gun at a shop assistant in Stockport.
Police are hunting Peter Thomas, 27, they suspect he has carried out 11 robberies in 11 days.
This footage was taken at Doug and Di’s convenience store, in Offerton, Stockport.
Police are hunting a suspected armed robber who has hit 11 premises in the Greater Manchester area in just 11 days.
Officers want to trace Peter Thomas, 27, in connection with a string of armed robberies at businesses predominately in the Stockport area.
Since 16 August 2014, police believe the same man is responsible for 15 robberies, four of which happened in the Lancashire area and the remainder in the Bolton, Stockport and Cheadle areas.
The latest robbery happened yesterday, 27 August 2014, at the William Hill bookmakers in Adswood.
Restaurants, convenience stores and off-licences are among the businesses that have also been targeted.
Most of the time, the offender has calmly queued up and when he has reached the till, produced a handwritten note claiming he has a gun and demanded money from the cashier otherwise he will use the weapon.
No-one has been physically injured during the robberies although staff have been badly shaken up.
